It improves the lives of the growers and their families and ensures that you, our customers, will have access to the best naturally grown Arabica beans in the world.

Shade grown Arabica beans come from small trees which grow best in the shade of larger trees and vegetation. Shade grown coffee thrives under the canopy of leaves of a naturally fertilized rain forest which, in turn, provides a haven for many animals including some of the migratory song birds which visit us in summer.

Whenever possible, we try to purchase coffees that are Bird Friendly™ and or Rainforest Alliance Certified.
