The JavaPot has been a work in progress for many, many years! My great love of tea and coffee was founded in my childhood memories. Wheeling down the local grocery aisle, with my mother, and smelling the most wonderful aroma of freshly ground coffee -- to this day, I habitually stroll down the coffee aisle in every grocery store I visit, just to take a sniff! And I think my initial love of tea came from seeing my parents sitting down after supper to read the newspaper, with their evening cup of orange pekoe. I would always sneek a soothing sip out of my father's cup.
So, with the help and support of family and friends, TheJavaPot.com was finally brought to fruition in 2006. First established as a home-based business, it has evolved into a small retail on-line store for tea and coffee products, as well as an informational site. Our inventory of products may be small to start but we are continuing to source out new and interesting products for our customers. The guaranteed quality of our products and first hand knowledge is a direct result of starting this company from scratch. My passion for fine gourmet tea and coffee and my entrepreneurial spirit are the driving forces behind this business.
